Your Questions, Answered

If your child is not meeting speech and language milestones, is difficult to understand, struggles to follow directions, or has trouble communicating with peers, a speech evaluation can help determine if therapy is needed. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, it's always worth checking.
We work with children and young adults ages 1 through 24. Our services range from early intervention programs like Learn with Less® for infants and toddlers, to individual and group therapy for school-age children and teens.
Every child is different. Some children make significant progress in a few months, while others may benefit from longer-term support. After your child's evaluation, we'll discuss expected timelines and set clear, measurable goals together.
We are an out-of-network provider. We provide superbills (detailed receipts) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many families receive partial or full reimbursement depending on their plan.
The first visit is typically a comprehensive evaluation. We'll assess your child's speech and language skills through play-based activities, discuss your concerns and goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan. You'll receive a detailed report with our findings and recommendations.
We focus on in-person therapy at our Harwich office to provide the most effective, hands-on experience. However, please contact us to discuss your specific situation and needs.
We provide home practice strategies and carryover activities after each session. Simple things like reading together, narrating daily activities, and giving your child time to respond can make a big difference. Our Parent & Teacher Workshops also offer practical strategies.
No referral is needed to schedule an evaluation or begin therapy. You can contact us directly to get started. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for reimbursement, so it's worth checking with your provider.
